Freebie: Forget Me Not (PS Curve) + Curves Tutorial

As a thank you to all my readers for helping this blog reach 11k views in 3 months, here's a free Photoshop Curve you can download and use for your photos! I'll probably post a new one from time to time. There is a tutorial after the jump on how to use the curve, so make sure to check it out. ^_^

How to use Preset Curves

Step 1: Open your photo in Photoshop. I'm using CS5 for this tutorial, but it should also work on other versions of Photoshop.

Step 2: On your Layers panel, look at the bottom part and click on the half black, half white circle icon . A drop-down menu will appear. Select Curves.

Step 3: A new layer will appear above your photo and the Adjustments panel will pop out. Click on the upper-right hand icon that looks like a triangle with some bars beside it . Select Load Curves Preset.

Step 4: Search for the .acv file and open it.

Step 5: And you're done! Feel free to play around with the curves in the Adjustment panel to achieve the effect you desire. Have fun!
